The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been detected in all of Iowa's 99 counties and will continue to be a threat for the foreseeable future. Treating your ash trees while they are still healthy is the most effective way to prevent the severe damage this invasive pest can cause.

A couple points we would like you to know are:
- Once a tree has at least 40% canopy thinning due to EAB, treatment is usually no longer a viable option.
- Treatments are applied every two years until the infestation threshold of EAB has passed.
