Do you have valued ash trees in your landscape you want to save?
As a community we know how environmentally valuable our trees are and as a homeowner you understand the tremendous benefits shade trees provide. As the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) approaches central Iowa you need to be considering your options.
Treating your ash trees while they are healthy is the most effective way at preventing severe devastation this invasive pest can cause.
Hall and Martin Landscape Services is taking a PROACTIVE step to make sure you continue enjoying the benefits your trees provide. We will continue to offer our treatment solutions for the ash trees on your property in 2017. Please feel free to give us a call to discuss your options.
We have also included a few links containing more in-depth information and research on EAB to guide you in making more informed decisions regarding treatment options.
A couple points we would like you to know, though:
Once a tree has 40% canopy thinning due to EAB, treatment is usually no longer a viable option.
Treatments are applied every two years until the infestation threshold of EAB has passed.
